What do we do?
Van der Pluym provides all kinds of legal translation work, in all possible language combinations. Our translation portfolio can be divided into three main categories: translations for professional legal clients, companies and private clients.
The largest group is translations for legal professionals. - For judicial officers/bailiffs, lawyers, notaries and other legal service providers, we translate summonses, writs of service, notices, petitions, pleadings, judgments and rulings, advice, certificates of succession, wills, powers of attorneys … You name it!
As well as legal professionals, increasing numbers of companies are finding their way to Vertaalhuis Van der Pluym. We are very happy to provide them with translations of, for example, articles of association, terms and conditions, contracts/agreements and reports.
Finally, of course, we are also happy to assist private individuals. If you wish to apply for Belgian nationality, register a foreign marriage in Belgium, or if you need a sworn translation of your foreign diploma certificate - Vertaalhuis Van der Pluym provides translations for all kinds of official matters which require your documents to be translated by a sworn translator. We can also assist you with translations into a foreign language, in the context of legal proceedings abroad or in a different language region.
In addition to actual translation work, we also take care of the legislation of translations at the Federal Public Services (government departments) in Brussels, at embassies and consulates, if this is required. So, as you can notice, we take care of your translation project from A to Z!
